factually, all you might need is bugfixes and some QoL mods though. Good writing holds up the game, which is something you cant just mod in. zizek-theory

Most people play New Vegas without mods the first time around.

A good game doesn't need mods to hold up, unlike certain Bethesda games.

You can pile mod upon mod on Skyrim, yet you will still have muddle through the godawful writing. Some things just can't be fixed by modders

Skyrim is literally unsalvageable

a wise man once told me in a video essay that when the next Elder Scrolls game will come out Morrowind modding will be fine, in fact it will probably get more zoomers and gen alpha involved, but Skyrim will probably go the way of Oblivion as the modders jump on the new hotness

I do. All the mods I tried I disliked.

Imagine playing a video game without mods

I kinda wanted to mod it into cyberpunk. A new pretty radical plot line. Eh though. Not enough energy
