Good ol' boy, beard, blue collar aesthetic (if your idea of blue collar is 100 years old). Ex-military. Veteran. Come to find out he was involved in human trafficking as a private contractor. What tattoos does this guy have that we never saw?

Now his wife runs his channel doing the same folksy shtick.

He reached his target audience with the ancom prepper content, was activated when Russia invaded Ukraine, and now the channel is just Blue MAGA sheepdog shit.

His wife is doing the videos now. Same format. You can't yell at the partner of someone accused of human trafficking. maxwell.

Ah yes, Beau of the slavery ring. Wasn't the accent even faked? Do I misremember reading that?

[–] culpritus@hexbear.net 32 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Yep, it was a put on. Not sure if it was totally fake or just a slipping back into it kinda thing.

Duck Dynasty meets pysop more or less

I'm pretty sure Duck Dynasty started out as a psy-op to convince middle Americans to give up on basic literacy.

slipping back into it kinda thing

Does he now talk about how it's cool to traffic people or something?

I still remember this video he had that mentioned a NATO study that concluded you need 1 soldier for every 50 civilians in an area if you want to hold it, and his shared conclusion was that Russia could invade a territory but they couldn't hold it; it didn't seem to occur to him that NATO's research was based on its own and America's experiences in places where the troops weren't welcome.

I remember him, but I wish I didn't.

I would love to see a wider perspective of this scene. I wonder how far the shelves go - did he bother to build them out any further?

[–] LangleyDominos@hexbear.net 15 points 1 week ago (1 children)

It looks like he's in one of those prefab sheds and built shelving into it himself. This is for all his prepper stuff, I suppose but the set dressing changes so idk.

[–] robot_dog_with_gun@hexbear.net 9 points 1 week ago (1 children)

iirc he started in an actual shed and then changed to a set

the shelves and the paneling behind are both different in OPs pic noticing
