He was very pro beanis. He just thought it was morally wrong to eat beans because they were on the level of humans. A sort of proto veganism but dumber.

No, you are not allowed to just post this and move on. Explain yourself immediately. Why does this image exist? Who could possibly have made this? Why isn't it already an emoji on this bean fanpage?

Someone posted this here on hexbear like a year and a half ago, I just downloaded and repost it whenever Pythagoras hating beans comes up. Which is surprisingly often

LIES! LIES! LIES!

Pythagoras is from Europe. Europe HAS NO BEANS. THEY ARE PALE, BEANLESS PEOPLE.

Beans come from Mexico! WE ARE THE TRUE PEOPLE OF THE BEAN!

Pythagoras didn't eat FAVAS.

[–] AstroStelar@hexbear.net 6 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

Fava is a type of bean, the words are related in fact and the entire family of bean and pea plants is named after it: Fabaceae

[–] nefertum@hexbear.net 2 points 15 hours ago

No! I will not surrender beans to the Eurasians with your pretender beans. They are legumes, yes... maybe even pulses but your old world vigna, glycine and vicia ... maybe lupinus. Beans, true beanis are PHASEOLUS, PHASEOLUS VULGARIS. COMMON BEAN.

I will not stand by this bean appropriation for your peas and various wannabe legumes

[–] entropicdrift@lemmy.sdf.org 20 points 1 day ago

The Bean cums from the Beanis, and the Beanis from the Bean.

Thus we are all connected in the great circle of Bean.

[–] CoolerOpposide@hexbear.net 14 points 1 day ago

I think he could actually be onto something here

[–] sharkfucker420@lemmy.ml 11 points 1 day ago

If beanis weren't meant to be food then why are do they make such good soup?

[–] culpritus@hexbear.net 16 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

[–] Feinsteins_Ghost@hexbear.net 13 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

You've got to tell them. The ocean is dying. Plankton is dying. Beanis is made out of people.

Also, Pythagoras' lesser known theorem. He mostly just shared it with his buddies when drinking around the fire and playing with mercury or somwthing.

[–] WildWeezing420@hexbear.net 9 points 1 day ago

it's not that beans are people, it's that people and beans share a common ancestor. This is a common misunderstanding of Pythagoras' theory of evolution.

[–] ConcreteHalloween@hexbear.net 10 points 1 day ago

This experiment, was... what?

[–] Nopeace@hexbear.net 9 points 1 day ago

thicc-trump you're telling me this is a bean??
