Based on our own research and a review of related work, we can confidently say that most domestic terrorists in the US are politically on the right, and right-wing attacks account for the vast majority of fatalities from domestic terrorism.

Republicans don't care. They are making shit up to justify going after the left.

Democrats aren't particularly interested in calling it out because republicans are going after the left and not whatever democrats have become.

Used to have a conservative friend. We'd argue politics, all in good fun. When I brought up that right-wing terrorism was the FBI's #1 concern (at the time) he fucking exploded, never seen him that mad.
