Is Fox News a terrorist organisation?

[–] LoafedBurrito@lemmy.dbzer0.com 132 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Can we go ahead and label fox news as a terrorist organization? They are inciting violence against americans and their viewers are acting on it.

Clearly the administration will do something about these right wing lunatics...

[–] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 34 points 2 days ago (3 children)

How can they be a terrorist org if they’re State Media?

Fox News should be taken off air indefinitely.

[–] MystikIncarnate@lemmy.ca 55 points 2 days ago (6 children)

Y'know. That's one way to end homelessness. Just kill everyone who is homeless. Voila, no homelessness.

You become homeless? Straight to the firing line for you.

I mean, other countries did it by lifting up their citizens with social programs and housing projects and whatnot. Admittedly, I would prefer this much more than America's method.

But this does seem quite America of a solution to the homeless "problem"....

Yeah, fox news likes to do some stochastic terrorism once in a while, as a treat.

He should be arrested and charged with aiding and abetting a felon and being an accessory to murder.

[–] Jarix@lemmy.world 16 points 2 days ago

Literally inciting violence and murder

Not saying Fox studios should be burned to the ground, but It would be a shame if it didn't happen.

[–] FlyingCircus@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Palestine Action taught us that destroying corporate property is an extremely effective form of protest.

Are they gonna lower flags to half mast? Will there be a moment of silence? Are they gonna take responsibility? Will they persecute anyone who cheers on these deaths? Do pigs fly?

[–] primrosepathspeedrun@anarchist.nexus 94 points 3 days ago (14 children)

Move past pointing out hypocrisy. They don't care. We all know and on the scale of shit they're guilty of; it seems petty. The institutions are not going to do shit.

Consider what you will be doing about this.

[–] pennomi@lemmy.world 99 points 3 days ago (19 children)

Pointing out hypocrisy is not usually for the benefit of the hypocrite, it’s for the benefit of everyone else.

Thank god they took Kimmel off the air. Unimaginable what he could’ve said about that bozo.

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 39 points 2 days ago (3 children)

Conservatism is a racist domestic terrorist movement.

That Fox host might lose their job, like Kimmel, because the law is equally applied. /s

No pushback for that Fox Host that said that. Only pushback and doxing for mean comments about dead white nationalist and nazi.

[–] jj4211@lemmy.world 34 points 3 days ago

Or merely mentioning that some democrats were also assassinated this year...

Here we are guys.

First they came for the immigrant.

Then they came for the homeless.

Youre on the list.

Completely expected

The right has been frothing at the mouth for ANY EXCUSE to enact their twisted murder fantasies about minorities, this was enough for them

The right are nothing more than a rabid collection of genocidal freaks, and now they own the fucking government

Can I quote myself without sounding arrogant? Brian Killmeade called for homeless to be shot, then retracted.

But he said it. The message has been delivered, and spread. Saying and apologizing is not the same as not saying it.

[–] running_ragged@lemmy.world 79 points 3 days ago (1 children)

The redactions never travel as fast or far as the original message. They know this.

Speaking on Fox & Friends Friday about Charlie Kirk’s death, Trump admitted that he isn’t all that concerned about right-wing radicals.

“Well, I’ll tell you something that’s gonna get me in trouble, but I couldn’t care less. The radicals on the right oftentimes are radical ‘cause they don’t want to see crime, they don’t want to see crime,” Trump said. “They’re saying, ‘We don’t want these people coming in, we don’t want you burning our shopping centers, we don’t want you shooting our people in the middle of the street.’”

“The radicals on the left are the problem,” he continued, “and they’re vicious and they’re horrible and they’re politically savvy.”

It's crazy how republicans are showing they are the actual "snowflakes" and they are actually the pro-censorship party.

And this is how stochastic terrorism works 👿

[–] DarrinBrunner@lemmy.world 132 points 3 days ago (9 children)

This happened Monday, and this is the first I've heard of it.

But, today some cops were shot in PA, and it's immediately all over the news. There's a press conference going on now, and everyone is shocked and sad.

Kilmeade should face charges. Not sure what charges. Not murder, but the equivalent of shouting 'fire' in a crowded theater.

[–] PattyMcB@lemmy.world 61 points 3 days ago

Stochastic terrorism. I'm not a lawyer, so... grain of salt

Fucking left wing extremists!

[–] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 23 points 3 days ago (1 children)

That’s literally social media right now. Someone posts objective evidence of right wing violence, the first comment is “it’s the violent left's fault!”

[–] Jack_Burton@lemmy.ca 25 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Historical revision in real-time.

How about putting Fox on the list of defendants when this goes to court?
