I'm skeptical that this would actually work but terrorizing ICE is always good so critical support

also if it works either the state probably has similar capabilities or would idk just take their shit to do the same to protesters

The state uses face and gait matching to do tracking, yes. Wear masks and loose fitting generic clothing at spicy events.

even if they get false positives, it'll still target crackers so they might get a taste of how everyone else feels lmao

cracker : Ohhh so that's what the leftists meant when they said AI had a racist bias- they meant it was racist against white people!

This is a perfect example of why rejecting new tech out of hand simply cedes power to the ruling class.

I kinda agree

I disagree. This doesn't lend merit to abominations. We don't need the fiction and distraction of demasking ICE agents with AI. We don't need to demask them at all.

kind of a win-win scenario to me - either we doxx the bootboys or we prove that even the most "powerful" "AI" implementations are fake dogshit

It won’t prove anything that hasn’t already been proved a thousand times over. The person writing the AI that eventually falsely accuses someone wealthy and important will get sued for bajillions and quietly settle out of court. No precedents or anything like that will be set, the whole story will be squashed because it’s easy to make it sound vague and esoteric and overly technical. Sex-chat bots targeted at kids by Meta/Facebook hasn’t caused the AI bubble to burst, so sure as shit this won’t either. The US government and its corporations will continue to burn the planet to power the shitty chat bots because so many trillions have been invested already that suddenly stopping now will cause another global economic crisis.

I disagree.

Be funny if this forced them to admit AI doesn't work.
