Half of conspiracy boy’s list is because of the US… And the JFK one just renders him without merit at all. So f’ing tired of the nonstop conspiracy sh’t people drivel. We are in a true golden age of just saying crap that sounds good to our anger.

JFK assasination is plausibly because JFK demanded investigation of Israel their stolen nukes and the CIA was heavily compromised since then by Israeli spies.

[–] modestmeme@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago (3 children)

Jesus fucking Christ you people think “plausible” = true? Prove it, any of it, a smidgen of evidence. Anything…

"I'm not saying Israel assassinated JFK. I'm just asking questions"

[–] geneva_convenience@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I'm not saying Israel assasinating JFK is confirmed true. I'm saying that Israel definitely had a motive for it and that Israel definitely had spies within the CIA which stole nukes for them and israel definitely didn't like Kennedy asking to investigate Israeli nukes and require the Israel lobby register as foreign agents. These things all happened facually.

To pretend like there's no connection at all is to ignore all existing evidence. There's no definite proof, but the motives are there. And it was after JFK assasination that the Israel lobby really took off within the US.

Well you should hook up with all the other JFK conspiracists and hash out the wildly different but stands-to-reason perfectly plausible scenarios….

Yeah we can all get together in a room and wonder why the government is so secretive about the JFK assassination and refuses to release all the fiiles about it. It's not like the US government has a track record for crazy conspiracy theories. Like a CIA smuggling nukes to Israel and the CIA apparatus trying to bury it.

They did release the files. It was Oswald.

A large portion are witheld.

Surely if there was nothing to hide we'd have seen this stuff a long time ago.

You’re not a genocidal maniac = true? prove it, any of it, a smidgen of evidence. Anything…

Give it time...

[–] pennomi@lemmy.world 17 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I highly doubt it. Without Israel the US would just pick another favorite child in the Middle East and carry on like before.

[–] Armio2@lemmy.ml 18 points 1 week ago (1 children)

They would definately try, but its really hard to find another child like Israel.

Honestly I can't really think of any another excuse they could use to send white colonialists to live in the Middle East.

If they can't put white colonialists there, the "favorite child" would have to be a nation from a local ethnicity (and, "worst", Muslim) and the whole propagandistic idea that "they have Western Values" - a slogan which carries both a "they think like us" for Liberals and a "they look like us" for Conservatives so as to get the support of both political groups - wouldn't work anywhere as well, plus there would be no group of people in the West unwaveringly supporting them entirely out of tribalism (as a large segment of the Jewish people in most Western countries support Israel no matter what).

So I totally agree with you that it would extremelly hard, maybe even impossible, to have a favored child in the Middle East that could get the level of public opinion support in the West that Israel managed to get.

Uh... I appreciate the sentiment, but a lot of this stemmed out from late stage imperialism and WW1.

[–] zululove@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 week ago

We have to stop them

[–] PowerCrazy@lemmy.ml -1 points 1 week ago (3 children)

Imagine no religion.... Yes I know religion is secondary cause of the conflict, but fewer Theocracies is always a good thing. Plus drying up the modern pilgrimage to slavery pipeline Saudi Arabia has created would be nice too.

[–] JustJack23@slrpnk.net 17 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Religion is the excuse, not the cause.

[–] Faydaikin@beehaw.org 7 points 1 week ago

An excuse and a means.

[–] Armio2@lemmy.ml 10 points 1 week ago

The thing is many people who are fighting and are against zionism have a religion too. palestinians have a religion too.

[–] mrdown@lemmy.world 8 points 1 week ago (1 children)

People will use another excuse to commit massacres

[–] Makhno@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Sounds like an excuse for shitty, murderous imaginary friends

[–] Maeve@kbin.earth 7 points 1 week ago

Patriotism, clan, tribe, gang, looks, ability, gender...
