That's such a horrifying/cool looking fish! I really like the monsters of the deep, they're so cool and alien and creepy, I love them! (I should go down an anglerfish rabbit hole, the last sea creature rabbit hole I went down was oarfish, they're super duper neat, not deep ocean monsters, but definitely real life sea serpents! Super cool, the ocean is awesome)

Anglerfish are great, they have what might be the most disturbing mating process on this planet

I downvoted based on the title alone, but as soon as I saw the meme I upvoted. Well done.

I was inspired to do this when I saw a discussion between Stephen Colbert and Clarissa Ward where she said that people around the world were no longer seeing America as a beacon of human rights and freedom and I almost laughed out loud; there's literally quotes by African leaders going back many decades about how awful America and France are, then you also have the stuff the government and the CIA were getting up to in South America, or the brutal repression of communists even in the Middle East, or the brutality against the people of Vietnam, Korea, Cambodia and Laos, and like.....since when was America considered a beacon of human rights and freedom?
