Because our weekends are woefully short despite us knowing full-well that basically any job is improved by a four-day work week. That shit adds up to burnout and you’re not only already tired but the dread of the long week ahead is making it worse still.

Because we had ~3 weeks worth of dystopia news in the span of ~3 days

Sunday is the first day of the week. I actually have worked 40 hrs Sun-Tues. And fortunately unlike most weeks I'm almost done for the week. Camping in the back country of Colorado in a couple days. Can't wait. After that I'm at a work conference in Denver next week, but I'm camping for that too, because why the hell not? My campground outside Denver at least has a shower. The first few nights I don't even have a toilet, just dispersed camping somewhere west of Leadville and Twin Lakes.
