I think invasion is too strong a term. Maybe, a special operation of antelopes?

[–] einlander@lemmy.world 30 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Sounds like they are about to join Australia in loosing a war to animals.

[–] Zidane@sh.itjust.works 11 points 2 months ago (1 children)

You're a bunny, you're not even exotic meat.

[–] MelodiousFunk@startrek.website 7 points 2 months ago

Yeah, but they might have Mad Mad Bunny disease. You don't want none of them prions, dawg.

[–] MadMadBunny@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 months ago

Tell that to my vet, she treats me as her "exotic pet"

[–] LNRDrone@sopuli.xyz 7 points 2 months ago

Probably delicious when cooked right. Never had antelope, but reindeer and moose are probably in the same pallpark and those are both good.

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 15 points 2 months ago

One day Oversimplified will cover this on youtube. Just like the pig war and the emu war.

And he'll release it right after he covers vietnam. Which will be in approximately 90 years.

The Daily Star is really more entertaining semi-fiction than news, but this is still Onion-worthy.

[–] BlackPenguins@lemmy.world 9 points 2 months ago

A lot of antelopes about to be mysteriously pushed out windows.

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago

Also, discouraging words are seldom heard there, and in the daytime the skies are cloudless.
