For such people, Eastern European countries cannot have their own political dynamics. The USA here makes even the sun rise

What would a color revolution even change in Poland? All the governments since 1990 have been fanatically pro-American

[-] Zrc@hexbear.net 62 points 11 months ago

seen people say that CIA wants to install an LGBT government

[-] Infamousblt@hexbear.net 70 points 11 months ago

Imagine being so detatched from reality to think the CIA is somehow woke

[-] RyanGosling@hexbear.net 18 points 11 months ago

Half of these people are LARPing. The other half is genuinely stupid and thinks the CIA isn’t on their side

[-] ProxyTheAwesome@hexbear.net 15 points 11 months ago

They did have a woke recruitment ad and they do use rainbow imperialism cynically in a lot of NGOs and other avenues. They don’t do it because they actually care about any of the values, it’s all PR spin to delineate good and evil for the chauvinist libs. China and Russia bad! Western values good!

Are people really implying that the CIA would intervene in Poland over Ukraine's grain while letting an anti-war candidate go scot free in Slovakia?

[-] Gosplan14_the_Third@hexbear.net 18 points 11 months ago

"People"

More like this guy. Also, it's just an election season stunt by the libs. There's been like 5 such marches over the past few years, and each time it ended with the crowd just going home and nothing changing.

[-] edge@hexbear.net 18 points 11 months ago

Haven't they been moving away from absolute support for Ukraine? Fuckin' Pakistan had a coup over Khan not supporting Ukraine, so Ukraine's next door neighbor having a coup for that reason wouldn't be too surprising.

privatize more

All the governments since 1990 have been fanatically pro-American

could be a matter of renewing or reinforcing that existing dynamic

[-] Gosplan14_the_Third@hexbear.net 3 points 11 months ago

privatize more

You're talking about POLAND. There is very little left to privatize.

[-] Chapo_is_Red@hexbear.net 5 points 11 months ago

From what I understand, healthcare is still affordable there compared to the US. So they could go after that

[-] ZapataCadabra@hexbear.net 33 points 11 months ago

We on the left can be a little too quick to jump the "CIA" did it gun, like some did with Niger, but we're not fucking stupid about it.

This is the same :LIB: argument against the 2014 coup in Ukraine being a coup. It's a bs argument. The thing that sets Poland apart is that it's mostly aligned with the West already so it doesn't completely make sense, although they've gotten a little shaky with their support for Ukraine. I doubt it's a color revolution though, it seems like it's just some lib political rally.

I mean look at how much debt to the IMF Eastern European countries have and say they have their own political dynamics again.

[-] DanComrd@hexbear.net 14 points 11 months ago

How do you have a "colour" revolution in a neolib, socially backwards country? Are they advocating for feudalism like? lenin-confused

[-] robot_dog_with_gun@hexbear.net 12 points 11 months ago

who taught cernovich that term?

[-] Moss@hexbear.net 11 points 11 months ago

Does anyone actually know what this march is, because "anti-government" seems like libspeak for "bad"

[-] Chapo_is_Red@hexbear.net 6 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago)

Don't know anything about it, but the first article on CNN has a lot of US flags at the protest lol
