IDF babes? So this was shared originally by someone who genuinely supports this.

tried to stop Trump?

That’ll get you banned from .ml

[–] eldavi@lemmy.ml 10 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

what makes you think that leftists would support a fascist?

[–] TheOubliette@lemmy.ml 11 points 3 hours ago

The entirety of their logic is myopic electoralism handed down to them by the most insufferable party climbers imaginable. If you are against their neoliberal blue genocider, you must be for the other tean's red neoliberal genocider, because all of politics must be condensed to the next / the last election day and which neoliberal horse may win it.

Honest question, I don't go over to the .ml side of lemmy and I'm confused by what they represent. I see people talking about how they're left but also this was they like trump? Do I have this wrong or are they just very confused?

[–] leftytighty@slrpnk.net 4 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

You're on lemmy.ml now, the worst part of it is the militant liberals from world coming here trying to feel smug. That's about the worst I've seen at least.

[–] Entheon@lemmy.world 3 points 1 hour ago

Gonna be honest I didn't realize this was a .ml community when I posted, I thought I was in my instance πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

I haven’t seen much if any support for Trump on .ml, but I don’t claim to be on Lemmy more than a couple times a week.

It’s more about being in love with the hierarchy-destroying bastions of freedom that are Russia and China. You know, those places where workers have real power. Ahem….

You're talking to people that want to continue rationalizing their tacit, frequently racist support for genocide, and their easiest out has always been to say, "but Trump is worse". They have never done the introspection required to look at their own personal role as a political being beyond what they're told to do by the Democratic Party and their donors: slacktivist vote shaming, always presuming the high ground for themselves (even while tolerating genocide!), and doing as little as possible on the ground outside of minor exercises in false catharsis like a cop-escorted, permitted march or an ignored letter writing campaign.

When challenged on this by people on the left that do read and do self-reflect, these are the folks that responded in bad faith, even when the context is genocide, because they have made politics into an extension of their egos rather than a project to which to subordinate yourself and devote real work to.

Whining about .ml is their way of pretending to be vindicated every time Trump does something bad, as they cannot actually argue against what the people in .ml say, they must rely on inventions and emotional implications.

In short, many on .ml vocally opposed supporting genociding Democrats. None that I'm aware of expected Trump to be better. At best, a roll of the dice.

We're staunchly against genocide, so we oppose both US zionist parties.

US democrats shame anyone who doesn't do a specific set of actions, like voting for their zionist party, or refusing to pledge allegiance to it, despite their party funding it.

The US isn't a democracy, but many of us who live in the US vote anyway for various anti-zionist third parties, while at the same time protesting US leaders who support the genocide of Palestinians.

From my brief time exploring it, many there seem to think the end always justifies the means, and are oblivious to the means being the likely effective end. For example: China is apparently only temporarily embracing capitalism on its way to utopian communism. I haven't followed the trump support that was alluded to here, but I assume it's similarly reaching the limits of their forward reasoning. At some point, some talking points pop into their head to reinforce or build on their existing beliefs, and they pat themselves and their fellow comrades on the back.

Some are well prepared to run circles around you with their well trained mental gymnastics. It's not dissimilar to the flat earthers, or other conspiracy theorists. You just have to believe to be saved (from critical thinking). It's best not to engage, but rather observe from a distance.

You voted for someone committing genocide. Absolutely go fuck yourself with this projection.

Did I just make you dizzy running in mental gymnastic circles, you fucking moron? Time to go pat myself on the back I guess.

[–] jbloggs777@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

I vote in my country, not yours.

[–] AntiOutsideAktion@lemmy.ml -1 points 3 hours ago

Oh my god you tedious fucking idiot. Like I fucking give a shit after you voiced your opinion.

That fucking watermark...

This would actually bring peace to the region. Move the Palestinians back to their homes make it so they live in a part of the USA. Now let’s see Israel try and bomb the hand that feeds them. It’s actually brilliant!

[–] ShinkanTrain@lemmy.ml 2 points 44 minutes ago* (last edited 44 minutes ago)

Or we could just skip the middle man and give Palestinians the bombs instead of dropping on them

[–] Geometrinen_Gepardi@sopuli.xyz 0 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

If Israel won't, Iran just might.

[–] NastyNative@mander.xyz 1 points 2 hours ago

I dont understand this… why would Iran bomb it? its full of muslims and in their scuffle with israel they were just returning the favor. Israel bombed them 1st, if any country is a danger to the area its Israel.

[–] NutWrench@lemmy.ml 0 points 1 hour ago

A . . . "final solution" you might say.

Gazalargo? Palalargo?

Give Northern part to Turkey and Southern part to Greece.
