The Evil Dead: Army of Darkness, set in the medieval zone Ash gets transported to with the undead skeleton army and the witches and stuff. It could look fairly true to the source material in the current Doom engine IMO. I dunno if I'd want to see it as a boomer shooter since so many use quotes from it already, maybe more like an adventure game or something, but with that plasticky looking 3d graphics.
The Evil Dead PSX game was not great.
I enjoyed the PS2 era Evil Dead games and I feel they got the vibes right despite being relatively low budget.
I might have to revisit and re-evaluate. Maybe I missed some sequels to the original that I only half remember. I know I replayed it a bit with the bad PC port which definitely further ruined my impression of the past efforts.
Yeah I think the PS1 era one way as a bad RE clone from what ive heard. The PS2 era ones aren't perfect but they do a better job than that. 3rd person behind Ash chopping up the ghouls.

The GBA Dragonball RPG’s are solid
Hard to decide. But, something simple like Fusion Frenzy could be cool. Online multiplayer would be hilarious and they could come up with so much more minigames.
Star Fox and F Zero. A sequel to Wild Guns would also slap. I'd be hyped for a good sidescrolling non metroid castlevania if they did it well, Battalion Wars had something going as well ad worms 3d thst sorts equally valkyria chronicles and I wouldn't mind thst minus fire emblem and better strategy stuff. I'd like fire emblem to go back in time to 2000 and make a better follow up to Thracia and no go full weeb mode. Ftl should get a sequel under the stsr trek license and also there should be good versions of most stsr trek games.
A Symphogear rhythm character action game would be pretty fun

The MMORPG of dragon ball had some of your ideas but had all the problems of a MMO of 2010. I genuinely think that the basis of the MMO: years after the end of Z the human + saiyajin became the norm on earth, is a good background for a RPG.
In the same vein of open world RPG I think Naruto could be really good, Naruto has some good dumb rules of the universe(that the author ignore) that could be translated to RPG elements for a character creation. Like the element of the chakra(earth, fire, water, wind), fighting style(ninjustsu, taijustu, genjutsu), Kekkei Genkai, the contracts for summoning(different animals, weapons, mythical creatures), the ninja ranks, the level of the missions, the different villages for different backgrounds and differents clothing styles, etc
We need an updated Mashed with better physics. A game like that would thrive on the switch
