The 2022 one is honestly so ironic, because most governments who dictate head coverings for women are led by far-right religious nationalists. Not unlike the far-right christian nationalists we see in the US today.

I used one until I found out how useless they were. I thought a lot of the "fun" mask ideas worked better with a gaiter.
But after those first couple months - yeah, only worn by "look I'm wearing a mask, leave me alone" types or "I don't want people to see my face while I stroke my AR15 at the minimum legal distance from this polling location" types.
Also there's Left Wing atheists. Really doubt they want religious clothing.
I personally can't wait until the cyberpunk style takes over and we all have to wear techno full head masks and helmets with long coats and layers.
