It's about resisting communism bro, I swear bro, they're NOT nazis, you're actually the nazi for thinking the devs putting a swastika shotgun in the game are nazis, bro.

Omg a comment on YouTube said there's a radio station in the game that plays a race war song?

Are the devs that mask off, am I out the loop here? I've never played it.

They made a documentary about the making of the game that included a segment honoring the member of their team that joined up with the OUN and got perforated in Bakhmut

There never was a mask

The studio also bought 100 or so cars for the forced conscription gangs.

There was an article about how they used Azov guys for voice acting, so probably

Errgggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh they've been reframed as a legitimate group of the military now haven't they in the MSM?

"Oh they were nazis but they're so big now it's diluted any problematic viewpoints"

While their leader is sat their polishing his jackboots with a swastika shaped brush.

One of the big mods for the old stalker game added mein kamph as a loot item you could find in stalkers inventory, I used to think it was just the modders being turbo edgy but now it seems realistic

Jesus christ, now I'm not even interested in pirating the nazi dicksuckers' games anymore.

Here is another attempt to corroborate this. It usually looks less swastikay and this video is the exception, not the norm. However, it still isn't good and clearly isn't a line (which would be expected because "realism") or a circle (because easy). I can't think of a way to do bullet spread that accidentally results in a swastika.

[-] LaughingLion@hexbear.net 19 points 1 day ago

if the spread is a cross with some variation it would look like those patterns

the question is, why would you make the spread like that and not just a circle? maybe to make the shotgun a little more effective as it would prefer to hit the torso, limbs, and head at close range? only reason outside the obvious that i can think of. though someone digging through the code/files could confirm if the spread is actually based on a swastika

That makes sense. My money is on it being a cross, (because the optimal spread for damage is a very tall cross) with inaccuracy being a product of distance from origin to prevent the frustration of missing every pellet of your shot. This would result in the average distribution of pellets looking like a cross potent, which has a chance of looking like a swastika. I don't think this was intentional now that I think about it more.

[-] someone@hexbear.net 30 points 1 day ago

We ought to crowdfund a mod to change it to a hammer and sickle.
