She's only 60. We have 25 more years of this!

timmy-pray We robbed thousands of Palestinians children of their futures. It is only fair we also do this to ourselves.

unsavable party

All I can think of is that 2 second background gag in idiocracy where there's a collapsed highway in the distance, and cars just keep driving off the edge and landing in a big pile of crashed cars

the suffering is legendary, even in Hell

If you want a picture of the future, imagine a top-cop stamping on a human face - Forever

You guys wanna take bets on if she's gonna be pro or anti fracking in 2028?

[–] Aquilae@hexbear.net 34 points 7 months ago (1 children)

They're gonna lose again lmao

[–] sisatici@hexbear.net 37 points 7 months ago (3 children)

I am calling it rn. They won't. Economy will get even worse and thus amerikkkans will change the party thinking it will fix the economy

[–] SerLava@hexbear.net 32 points 7 months ago

Yes. This country is gonna drown in the Titanic frantically flipping the light switch on and off

[–] GoodGuyWithACat@hexbear.net 24 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Yeah we had a long run of two term presidents but that era is over. Presidents get one term and switch it over to the other party. The incumbent party will lose both houses of Congress and then on the mid term the president will lose 1 or both houses. This will continue until America collapses or a military dictatorship takes over.

[–] RomCom1989@hexbear.net 14 points 7 months ago (1 children)

I think it's cosmically hilarious that Trump will be the last two term president

[–] sisatici@hexbear.net 12 points 7 months ago

Don't rule out Joe Biden yet. Even if he dies. Dems will still hold on to that corpse

Starting coverage for 2028 like a week after the election makes me want to [redacted]

democrats love their losers

If you are still in line STAY IN LINE only 1445 days remaining.

good thing to poll honestly. a competent version of the democratic party that didn't operate as controlled opposition would immediately get as far away from that 62% of morons as possible. those are the cultists who are willing to go full blueanon rather than actually stare down outright fascism: they would vote for Literally A Rock (D) given the opportunity. their opinions are worth than worthless, they're the delusions of people who haven't touched reality since some time in the mid-80's.

The person you watched lose less than a month ago is definitely gonna win next time

They're not gonna run her again though. I'm sure Hillary was the frontrunner in 2017 for a little while too. It is funny how losing doesn't just bury your career in the Democratic Party though. Any real political institution had purged all hillaryites the second she lost to Trump and likewise with Kamala

[–] MaxOS@hexbear.net 18 points 7 months ago (2 children)

First as…first as… damn hows that shit go again?

[–] Ildsaye@hexbear.net 16 points 7 months ago

...Then as-as... no-oil
...Look, you do a bad idea over again, it eventually gets like a comedy! mission-accomplished

[–] volcel_olive_oil@hexbear.net 7 points 7 months ago

first as tragedy

then as farce

finally out of sheer habit

hopefully the paunchy middle-aged grey haired white guy that will run as her VP will stay a complete unknown until then.

as is the precedent set by Hillary and then followed by Harris.

[–] PKMKII@hexbear.net 15 points 7 months ago (1 children)

This means absolutely nothing. In four years, she will have been out of office for that long and everyone will move on.

[–] GoodGuyWithACat@hexbear.net 8 points 7 months ago (2 children)

She could pull the exact same strat as Nixon and run for governor of California after a failed presidential run. Then get back in it. Politicians usually don't go for "lower" office anymore but if she was smart she'd use this weight to get some political position again.

Can we bring back Adlai Stevenson if we really want a serial losing campaigner with a wacky name?
