Strange that the moderation on Xitter disappeared after that utter genius Elon fired all the moderators.
Leave Xitter and let it die peacefully in its own toxic sludge.

Eating disorders are a good example of how online spaces can spread mental illness like a virus. Individuals with ED's often have this insatiable urge to post ED propaganda online, much like rabies makes it's victims have the urge to bite people. It is how the virus perpetuates itself.
Sometimes ED will arrive organically in an individual without digital exposure to it, but some people only acquire it because they literally fell down an online rabbit hole. Very similar to MAGA in terms of being a digital mind-virus
how is this a problem, Twitter reduced moderation and more (relatively) harmless but offensive content stays on the platform. Nobody should be surprised by this.
I never knew there were pro-eating disorder groups out there. wtf
It's important to remember there's literally everything on the Internet.
Whoever invents the ‘unsee’ pill will become richer than god.
Idk liquor works pretty well and is already a booming industry
Sadly, no amount of liquor has been able to erase live-action Smurf porn from my brain.
I remember when 'thinspiration' websites were common in late 90's/early 2000's. It was a toxic cesspool of pro-ana pictures and forums.
Def not my type lol

Promotion of anorexia is the promotion of behaviors related to the eating disorder anorexia nervosa. It is often referred to simply as pro-ana or ana.
The entire fast food industry is arguably a pro-eatingdisorder group. Over-eating or eating garbage is every bit as harmful as undereating. One could argue that beef hamburgers and obesity are actually far worse than skipping meals when you factor in the environmental impacts
Wow, it's too bad that all these people are being forced at gunpoint to use Twitter. If only it were possible to just not go there.
People are afraid to not go there musk will sue if your account doesn't have 10 logins registered per day
"If you don't like it don't use it" isn't a very good response to unmoderated unsafe content being on a platform.
I agree aside from journalists that love calling out how bad it is while still maintaining a presence on the site, such as the author of the above story.
Well then Mr Bychawski, perhaps you and your journalist friends should stop fucking using it then
Not to victim blame but anyone still using twitter at this point is a Nazi adjacent.
People still using shitter deserve to be misinformed
