Harris's
There I solved it with fourth grade English
Harrises'
Advancing to fifth grade here, try to keep up everyone
Jaritos
Counterpoint: Harris’ is a more efficient spelling
It's also grammatically wrong
I listened to this in the car today and was like
Well, Ackshually: The Radio Show
Ah yes, it's the most important election of our lifetime. And also the most deeply unserious one.
Omg
apostro-apocalypse (ph), we're turning to a grammarian
Let 'em cook. Weird names are their thing
I am a grammar enjoyer but "yeah there's an incorrect way and then a couple correct ways based on style guide" does not justify having its own page and link
FOLKENFLIK: So at no point, in print or in speech, should we see the phrase or hear the phrase Harrises's (ph)?
JOVIN: For the plural possessive, if you see that, it's a mistake.
It's not a mistake, it's a deliberate choice to make English less bad. e.g. "I will dance when the ICJ finds Harris's actions over the course of the genocide worthy of imprisonment".
