Touché, seems like every fandom has its mouth breathers.
Well, except for Our Flag Means Death fans at least as far as the folks I've interacted with. Figures that a queer pirate rom-com would generally have a pretty wholesome fandom (although there's probably shitty OMFD fans too, heh)
I mean I still find it funny, I find it entertaining when it's found out that an extremely high cost production used something that I have access to

If a movie isn't brave enough to put their main actor into deep water with no breathing equipment with a ton of sharks just for the poster picture, then I'm not watching it
The movie would have made more money if someone was mauled by a shark and it led to a boycott
That last Aquaman movie is genuinely one of the worst things I have ever watched.
I stole it and I still wanted a refund.
I think I made it halfway through. On 4 tries.
I thought at first they had left the watermark in (no pun intended). That would've been a big fuckup.

For the poster? Nah. They're right, that's what stock photos are for. What, you want them to whip up a unique CGI model for no discernable improvement in quality in a still picture?
No. I want them to photograph real sharks. No CGI.
