I mean I still find it funny, I find it entertaining when it's found out that an extremely high cost production used something that I have access to

It's more common than you think

Just a crumb of media literacy for an old seppo?

He is responsible for making me the way I am…

A clever folk hero, right?

Right?

If a movie isn't brave enough to put their main actor into deep water with no breathing equipment with a ton of sharks just for the poster picture, then I'm not watching it

[–] drunkpostdisaster@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago

The movie would have made more money if someone was mauled by a shark and it led to a boycott

That last Aquaman movie is genuinely one of the worst things I have ever watched.

I stole it and I still wanted a refund.

I think I made it halfway through. On 4 tries.

I thought at first they had left the watermark in (no pun intended). That would've been a big fuckup.

Are you saying that mofo can't breathe under water? Cause if so, I want my money back.

[–] drunkpostdisaster@lemmy.world 7 points 2 years ago (1 children)

To be fair I would have expected a tiny bit more effort.

For the poster? Nah. They're right, that's what stock photos are for. What, you want them to whip up a unique CGI model for no discernable improvement in quality in a still picture?

[–] Chadus_Maximus@lemm.ee 0 points 2 years ago (1 children)

No. I want them to photograph real sharks. No CGI.

Good news! Someone already did and is selling that photo in stock photo services!
