I can't believe Israel just killed 100+ civilians while they were praying and there's hardly any backlash

Wtf? And then they also lied about there being militants. That's just insane.

TameeOliveFern posted another update, social media uproar may have had some effect as it was updated again the next morning:

Still not as good as the first that explicitly acknowledged Israel purposefully targeted the school.

Reuters is a far-right newspaper with views barely distinguishable from Breitbart but for some reason are treated as respectable

The New York Crimes and Washington Post have more credibility than the dogshit rag that is Reuters

I remember reading something from Reuters for a school assignment back in high school over 10 years ago and going “Wait, this is a reputable news source? This is Fox News filth.” and if anything I was being too kind

At least they bothered to add a fucking author’s name. Publishing an article with no author attached is fucking cowardice and usually should mean you assume that article is lying through its teeth. I’m looking at you Associated Press.

this is one of the things that irritates the fuck out of me about The Economist

Death to The Economist

[-] ClimateChangeAnxiety@hexbear.net 20 points 2 months ago

Reuters, The Economist, and AP are my most hated news organizations. I truly do not understand why they’re upheld as reputable. Like, at least NYT has a few good journalists that sometimes get stuff through. Those 3 are absolute rags.

Reminder that Lenin dismissed The Economist as “a journal that speaks for British millionaires”.

The Economist posting their L 100 years later.

reuters: balanced, reliable, fact-based reporting according to the "media bias chart"

[-] FnordPrefect@hexbear.net 17 points 3 months ago

maybe-later-kiddo "You're being sarcastic, but really:

-Balanced? One headline per worldview, what could be more fair?

-Reliable? Mainstream Media covering up the atrocities of those in power? That's exactly what I expect from them and they do not disappoint!

-Fact-based? You can see it in action here! They start with a fact to base their story on, then corrupt it irrevocably with journalistic tricks and sophistry until it misrepresents reality entirely

So I think someone should apologize to media bias chart..."

The chart that conflates centrism with being unbiased.

Classic genocide move, get rid of that big, scary number whenever you can. Never let them count the bodies.

IOF will not rest until the last Palestinian surviving is Mr. Khamas, reporting the death toll.

What a fucking joke

Tbf, Reuters might be avoiding a drone strike on their reporters
