With the electoral college, Trump really only lost by ~80K total votes across four swing states and that's with Brandon winning the popular vote by 6M and historic voter turnout. All that to say that the country barely DIDN'T elect Trump last time so I'm not surprised that he has a shot this time.
iirc, it was even less than that. 43,000 across three states. arizona, georgia, and wisconsin. I think.
