It's true, although I'll say Bush 41 was far more tolerable than either Republican president who came before or after him. His policies were still Republican bullshit, but he was neither batshit crazy nor stupid.

I'll also point out here that we recently had a president with no pets at all, and let you draw your own conclusions.

Guess the asshole part of that depends on whether you're a Kuwaiti or Republican Guard..

G. W.'s round 2 (electric boogaloo) version was an entirely different exercise in absurdity. Bush 41's war was not really comparable.

Driving the Iraqi Army out of Kuwait was ok. Bombing half of Iraq's infrastructure afterwards was unnecessary.
