The stupid motherfucker that tried to evict me went so far as to illegally record me through my bedroom door. I confronted him with the threat of literal prison time (something I did not want to do and would not have gone through with) an he was literally trembling before me. It's done, it is finally over and in the process I get a friend a place to live.

Why would you not go through with sending your shitty landlord to prison?

When your landlord goes to prison they don't just hand over the property to you, more than likely you'll get another shittier landlord that will price you out of your home if they can't evict you because they don't want "problem tenants."
