I'm a bit worried. Since the upgrade to 0.19.0 I have been getting 1 on all my comments. Indicating either my normal engaging personality has left me, I never was and the pity has stopped, or maybe I'm not being seen.

Tommy can you hear me? Can you feel me near you?

All of lemmy seems to have slowed down massively. The "active" sort shows the same posts for days in a row, and the "hot" sort is now as slow as "active" was before (same posts for a couple of hours to a day at most).

It really seems like there are like 80% less active users than just a few weeks ago.

It's the holidays. And the strike is over, I have work and can't spend that much time shitposting on social media anymore.

Probably because people are leaving due to the extreme lack of niche content and the same armchair activist bullshit constantly taking up the feed and comments sections.

You don't like Lemmy's reposting of Reddit's reposting of Xitter?

Gotta get active and be a creator for such content yourself then, eh? To raise possibilities to get other actives around while at it.

armchair activist bullshit constantly taking up the feed and comments sections.

I encourage to ignore or block communities/users/whatnot that don't add any content to your interest or cause harm for ya.

Yeah the majority of people I know aren't interested in being content creators. I know I'm not. Every now and then I'll share something, but I have no interest in spending time making a community

If you're willing to lose a community otherwise, then that's fair enough.

Oh, decisions!

Do you have a moment to talk about our Lord and Savior, ~~Linux~~ ~~Duck Duck Go~~ Firefox?

I noticed this as well, can't see much new content and there's usually very little interaction. Looks like it's time to yeet myself back to Instagram

Instagram

No! Don't give in. Stay strong fellow human

Infinite scrolling seems broken on Jerboa, when I go directly in a community and sort by new I get the same content as when I sort by top 6h 🤷
