Sounds like this is complete PR nonsense. They are not instituting any blanket 'pauses' really, but Biden admin wants to say they got Israel to do something.
Liberal media: crying, telling their children about 'Joe Biden the peacekeeper', spinning up stories of how he should get the Nobel Peace Prize
Reality: "We can just tell them that the time we already spend regrouping and resting between assaults is us doing a 'humanitarian pause' "
"These pauses will be held in the parts of Gaza that go four hours without being bombed because we are bombing elsewhere"
