Jessica was hiking in a remote part of New Zealand with her dog, Molly, when she slipped and fell 180 feet down a waterfall. Jessica survived and was rescued - but Molly had disappeared.
A local helicopter company heard what happened and organized a volunteer search. A week after Molly went missing, the team flew back to the waterfall to start looking.
And there she was.
Molly was sitting on rocks beneath the very waterfall where Jessica had fallen. Despite spending a week on her own, rescuers said she was in perfect condition.
They lured Molly over with a treat, carried her to the helicopter and brought her to safety.
After an unimaginably difficult week, Jessica and Molly were finally both back home.

My dog is totally like that. I mean he likes me and all (I feed him and take him to the bathroom) but he’d be ok to not see me again too.

I have two cats and every day when I come home from work they both come running to greet me, one comes over to actually say hello, and the other one comes over so she can make sure I can see it, when she snubs me. Unless I have shopping bags in which case all shopping must be thoroughly inspected.
