Edit: Apparently $8 million went to Politico(not MSNBC) over time(including during both biden and trump 1 regimes) it was for software licenses and policy subscriptions for Politico Pro and E&E News which are 'highly specialized data platforms used by policy analysts to track legislation, regulations, and government policy.' you'd think the government could track their own legislation, regulations, and policy without having to pay a third party,

He already did this a while back but I think his ban got struck down by courts or something. Not sure why he's doing it again, maybe he's freaking out because everythings starting to fall apart?
The government contracts fucking everything, in a lot of the govt it is literally required that they use a privately owned middleman for anything but the most core functions
