Fire Emblem is an ex that I begrudgingly am glad is doing well. I like old restrictive fire emblem dammit
Me too. To me, Fire Emblem went severely downhill starting with Fates and cementing its fate with Three Houses. I would’ve been perfectly happy if Awakening was kept as a one off, but it sold so well that it’s no surprise they chased that golden goose. I miss the old days, but am happy that it has evolved into something a modern audience can enjoy.
Have you played the Tear Ring/Berwick Saga? The creator got fired from Nintendo after thracia and made his fire emblem so hard on Playstation they sued him.
Kaga right? he made some FE like games in steam too
Yeah. Haven't played the steam ones. Berwick saga is the only one I played through and it is next fucking level in both the good and bad. It's a weird complicated in every sense game
