If by "woke" you mean "a generation of embarrassingly mad 30something dorks said anime intros was bad and now we can't have fun" :)
I thought those dorks were the ones who wanted them back?
Different generations of 30something. The 30somethings now want them back; the people who were 30ish in 2012 grew up reading issues of EGM yapping about how Sonic "got old"
