Straight white people are chronically behind the times and queer media almost always has tiny marketing budgets that do not produce the kind of hype the hogs need to notice something. They only become aware of it when a shouty man who gets provided a full tv studio and crew by a clericofascist oil baron from Texas works himself into a fury over the fact that there are, indeed, women who are eternally unavailable to not only him, but to all men and who are so happy about it that they make pastel colored animated movies about it.
