I think we should appreciate how low-tech toilets have stayed over the decades. That mechanism has been around for ages. No electricity needed, no internet or apps. Just does its job.
Hey, don't give them any ideas! Next thing I know, I'm going to need to subscribe to "Premium Flush+" just to make a turd go away.

Just hit the "SEND" lever twice...
"Sorry, you can't use basic flush again for 90 seconds."
Every toilet today seems to use a bowden mechanism on the main valve too. That lever and chain one is gone.
Don't tell anyone, but I've had a ballcock in the ol' crapper this whole time. Can't speak for anyone else, but it's working well for me so far!
