"We did it, Patrick! We made a technological breakthrough!"
A place for all those who loathe AI to discuss things, post articles, and ridicule the AI hype. Proud supporter of working people. And proud booer of SXSW 2024.
AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.
I was playing Hockey Legacy Manager 26 yesterday, trying Expansion draft for first time.
The UI in game is hard for tracking a few things as picks are done, I didn't want to type up 200 players in a spreadsheet to quickly see them all. Asked Claude to keep an eye on salary stats and depth chart as I picked out players. That's it... "How much do they all cost. How's the depth look". Saves me clicking between a bunch of pages.
Salary cap was blown out by $15M.
It assumed if a player was backup or on the bench, they didn't earn money, only when on ice the salary worked. This was Opus too...
Fucking useless shit. Had to do it all again but just did it the old school way without help. Better result, took about 20 mins longer.
Lmao
