It feels like this guy has done nothing but Avatar for like half of his career. I get wanting a franchise that makes it easy to push boundaries in visual effects, but holy hell he needs to move on.
Put the water and the fire and whatever into films with better plots.

Don't worry, he's already made like 16 Avatar movies
could atleast make an actual interesting story
