Honestly, they might be gambling addicts. Markets do feel a lot like gambling, but this is gambling when it's rigged towards you. You can never win enough, it's just about the dopamine from number getting higher.

I sometimes talk to my friends about how they should "come get involved in the community, let's play cities skylines (or something like that) IRL". Capitalists are just playing cookie clicker irl
