Fear and Loathing is the only movie he's good in. He's another one to the pile of Holywood actors that have no range.

It says a lot about how we view acting that our most famous actors are just moderately attractive people instead of people who are actually good at acting

I think a big part of this is also that Hollywood execs demand predictability, so an actor who always plays the exact same guy is actually the perfect fit for the slop factory.
