Why do you think the answer to your question isn't "extortion"?
I'm going along with what you're saying. Do you want to talk cost or value? Tell me either, the cost of life saving medicine or the value.
As I to you. Because that's all your "value" can measure and compare; degrees of extortion. Cost is a better word for it because it's less dishonest, and less malleable to peverse rationalizations. We can also talk about utility, and benefit, which is likely closer to what you wanted me to answer about but, unless you're particularly keen to subvert semantics and syntax, little can be accomplished by using inadequate terminology to formulate questions.
You said I was conflating cost and value, that was your accusation. So tell me how they are different. What is the cost vs value of life saving medication, and how did my comments inform a conflation? If you answer those simple questions to clarify your statements, we can continue with a conversation.
You're using the word value in place of cost. What you gain from doing so is the ability to babble yourself, and others, into believing nonsense. That's really all there is to it. If you can't gather the information you seek from the answer I already gave, then you're not mentally read6 for this convo, and that's fine, but please withdraw from my inbox at this time.
