The Counter-Revolution of 1776:Slave Resistance and the Origins of the United States of America.
As the United States of America, celebrate its independence anniversary declared on 4th July, 1776, we take a look at the history of America, the events that led to declaration of independence, and most importantly why declaration of independence was not a cause for celebration among all Americans, particularly for the native Americans and the enslaved African Americans. “For Native Americans, it may be a bitter reminder of colonialism, which brought fatal diseases, cultural hegemony and genocide. Neither did the new republic’s promise of “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” extend to African Americans. The colonists who declared their freedom from England did not share their newly founded liberation with the millions of Africans they had captured and forced into slavery.”
The so-called Revolution was according to Professor Gerald Horne, was a ‘Counter-Revolution’ a conservative effort by American colonists to protect their system of slavery. Contrary to anonymous role often assign to African Americans in the American Revolution (which Prof. Gerald Horne refer to as Counter-Revolution) the prof. lucidly outline their roles and their major impact. The book is a great shift in paradgim.

Financial Support to the Bearsite
In my industry you cant just cross something out, you need to document why youre crossing it out with an error code or footnote and then sign with your initials and date
Anyway, earlier this week my coworker reviewed my other coworker's packet that I did some work in and gave me over 100 corrections to make for the same error code which is genuinely unheard of.
It's so bad my supervisor who saw it before me talked to their supervisor about it, my other coworker asked that coworker if they were upset with me (without me asking or knowing he did that), and my other other coworker was so annoyed she took pictures of the packet and sent them to her sister to complain about it
The person who gave me all the corrections said thats what they said they (as in the other leaders) wanted in the leadership meeting and the coworker who sent the pics to her sister compared it to the Nuremberg trials which like
It's even funnier to me because as the person who actually had to stay an hour later than usual because of that Im like the least upset and think it's pretty funny now
It's very funny that they didn't put a defensible, but still annoying number of corrections. They just went straight to a number so large it could only be interpreted as harassment.
It's just so bizarre, my supervisor kept saying they just dont understand it why she'd do that and no one else does either but it's still pretty funny because she had to go through and make sure every correction I made lined up and then she made me correct some of the corrections
