Thanks for sharing either way - that’s kinda cool. Are ostriches as foul-tempered as they seem?

Depends, normally? they are safe to be around, the only way someone gets hurt is if they bother them and won't let them walk away.

Unless they are in heat, if a male ostrich is in heat they can be dangerous, especially if they see you as a mate.
