In a weird way, not that I wouldn't be afraid, but dying in a unique and interesting way actually sounds like the ending I'd want, if I had to pick one. Hear disease, cancer, car accident? Sounds awful. I'd love to be "the guy who got lost in space and died"

Downside being that astronauts are typically in the prime of their lives. If I was to go explosively, I'd want to be a few decades older than that.
