If Putin got his way and got the band back together or whatever, I don't know Russian history, does the USSR come back? Are all the Baltic states like pieces of Exodia or what? What does he even want?
Putin represents the russian national bourgeoisie, which happily choked on western dong until it was fully obvious they were slated for elimination by the imperial bloc. At this point they are largely operating from a position of self-preservation and to this ends have allied themselves with China. A retransition to socialism is out of the question.
