is it just me who thinks it probably wasn't actually the BBC who made it up? I reckon they probably just deliberately, blindly swallowed what some gusano told them with zero fact checking to maintain a facade of plausible deniability. Not like there's any shortage of absolute freaks willing to just say random shit. Not that it matters, it's functionally identical.
