Title basically. I was here at the very start of it all and really enjoyed it. However I felt it lost its uniqueness within a few months of mass migration and started turning a bit like reddit again so I deleted my old account. However Reddit has only gotten much much worse since, and Lemmy has stayed about the same. So here again.

On the negative side, dbzer0 has shifted more right wing over time, mostly due to influence from the tankie triad.

Absolute nonsense.

Naa man, I've noticed it too. I think it's because there are a lot of tankies realizing that they're getting blocked by everyone else, so they jump to another instance to start all over. I have a lot more db0 users labeled as tankies, now than in the past.

There's a lot of tankies on other instances as well. As you said, they jump to be able to agitate with other. Doesn't mean that we're "influenced" any more than most. Quokka is part of the FAF for crying out loud and they're as anti-tankie (from the left) as it gets. I think y'all are just having cognitive bias by noticing only the times that tankies write, but not all the time we have anarchist perspectives. Literally some of our top posts are anti-authcom.

Honestly, most of this is driven by a few haters, who are salty we don't ban every tankie on sight and a few haters who are salty we're principled against Zionism and try to divide us from the rest of the threadiverse as a result.

I mean, in my headcannon this feels true, but it’s probably only because of a few loud users in comment threads I’ve come across; I can’t really speak for the instance as a whole and it’s probably not the case.

feddit.org on the other hand…

I still have a lot of respect for y'all as the first anarchist Lemmy instance, creator of a lot of vital tools, and host of a lot of great communities I enjoy using.

Mate, every time you mention our instance and our comms you're just shitting on it...Hobbyless behaviour...

No, I mentioned dbzer0 elsewhere in this thread before you replied to Me, and I was talking about how Opinionated instances avoid the problems with ragebait posts.
