I had to inject medication into myself as treatment for MS a few years ago, and the first time I troed I could not physically convince my arm to pierce my leg with with needle. I tried multiple times and couldnt do it. Finally I had my partner do it, because they injected T, but that is injected in the muscle while mine was injected in the fat. The pain amd subsequent burning feeling all over my body convinced my arm to stop fighting me from that point on.

Ngl it hurts at first but once it becomes a weekly routine it gets very manageable and feels kind of nice, also :::spoiler maybe gross if it goes deep enough into the muscle you can flex it and the injection wiggles around without touching it
