It gone for good or just rebranded/integrated?
I think it was very expensive and probably ran the VC bone dry. Might stick around as a paid feature but I'd heard it costs several dollars in resources to generate a 10 second video, so it was never going to be free.
Reading about this elsewhere, it seems they're cannibalizing it for resources for some new grift that they're calling, and I swear I am not making this up, "spud". There's some more vapid corpospeak stuff about trying to pivot into robotics and more "we've totally invented god bro it's almost here bro just another trillion dollars bro it'll be worth it bro it's so cool bro" bullshitting from Sam Altman.
