There's a strange resurgence of cigarettes across social media. It's weird.
Some may say "weird", I say "astroturfed". This post is illegal in the jurisdictions lemmy.world is hosted in. Online advertisement of tobacco products is illegal in many jurisdictions. I've already reported it, and I'd encourage others to do the same.

Personally, I don't think it's very fun to share free advertising for a horribly exploitative industry with Family Guy tier content (hay guise, remember that advert from TV back in the day???)
Nothing weird about it. End of the world seems within our sights. Perfect time to pick up a self-destructive habit, imo 😅
For real though, i quit a few years back and it's been such a game-changer. I also chalk the fact that i did something positive and healthy as the reason why we seem to be nearing a potential 'end-of-world' scenario. If i just would have continued suckin down those cancer sticks we would likely be in a much better position, globally. Sorry guys 😬
