He's trying to do a 'strong arm' tactic as usual. This is how most of his 'deals' go. He fucks shit up, claims the other party agreed to his terms, and then tries to pull out.
Iran has said many times that they are not letting Trump pull out. Last year, the truce which ended the '12 day war' was the final warning. Trump does not decide the end of the war. He can't pull out because Israel is going to keep escalating and Iran will pummel Israel without US support. The reason that the US intervened into the '12 day war' was because Israel was losing badly.
