I did a four month work-holiday in SEA about a decade ago and getting off the plane nearly made me go into an anxiety attack lol.
You do adapt though, unsurprisingly
Reminds me of when I came home from Brazil in the middle of winter and it was so cold here and I was like "damn you live like this?"
Went to Arizona once to visit some family who decided to settle there
