I did a four month work-holiday in SEA about a decade ago and getting off the plane nearly made me go into an anxiety attack lol.

You do adapt though, unsurprisingly

Went to Arizona once to visit some family who decided to settle there

All that talk about it being a dry heat so it's manageable is bunk

It's like trying to live in an oven
