one way - see one way
two way - see two ways
two way makes way more sense.
The mirror part is only one way though.
A 2-way mirror would have a mirror on both sides.
Probably:
Two way sounds like a window.
but you can only see through a window one way.
you see through a two way mirror two different ways.
But it’s only a mirror in one of those two ways.
If it was reflective both ways then it would obviously be called a double one way mirrors. {taps head}
