Holy shit, really‽ How have I lived nearly half a century and never seen his face before?
There's a hilarious video of him absolutely wasted and trying to get through a champagne commercial. Highly recommend.
I'll rabbit hole Orson Welles videos after work today. Sounds fun.
Obvious recommendation, but if you haven't seen Citizen Kane, it's actually really fucking good.
When you look at the year it was made, some of the visual effects and filming techniques are mind-blowing. Apparently he had no idea what he was doing, which is why he did so much of it in strange ways that established filmmakers never would have considered.
The man was definitely a genius.
